U.S.A. of Mexico is what we have become. Illegals are creating jobs for themselves, taking jobs from Americans and taking shops that once were shops owned by Americans. All types of American owned businesses have closed and opened in place are businesses run by Hispanics. They have taken over entire neighborhoods.
The business sell goods; food, clothing, pinatas that is brought here from Mexico. In Reno, there are several inside flea markets that have booths ran by Hispanic and the sell product from Mexico and the name on the markets are in Spanish and unless you speak Spanish you don?t know what kind of business it is. That is the case throughout the city. There are small malls that are now entirely Hispanic owned business.
One building that house the flea market used to be a supermarket and the owner raised the rent so the market went out of business. I think he felt he could make more money by selling booths in a flea market. All of the Hispanics owned business were once shops that were American owned. The Hispanic owned businesses on a half mile stretch of one street contains business that are markets, thrift stores, used furniture stores, bridal shops, bars, restaurants, repair shops, check cashing, etc all of which were once shops owned by Americans
There is LuLu?s Tacos (on wheels) that cater to Hispanics at the flea markets. Many Hispanics own businesses are on wheels. The city flea market in now filled with booths run by Hispanic selling products from Mexico to Hispanics.
Not only are illegals taking jobs from Americans, they are taking businesses once owned by Americans. We are in fact becoming a third world country and soon we will not know where Mexico stops and the U.S.A. begins. The border will be gone. They have taken over entire neighborhoods. Some schools are 75% Hispanic students.
They truly are taking over the southwest and they are doing it simply by their presence here

IMMIGRATION LAW NOT BROKEN, OUR GOVERNMENT IS.

Harry Reid on immigration.

America needs comprehensive immigration reformWhile I am strongly opposed to illegal immigration and believe that our immigration laws should be strictly enforced, there is near-universal agreement that our system is broken and in need of reform.

OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM IS NOT BROKEN.
IT IS THE LAWS NOT BEING ENFORCED THAT IS BROKEN BY A GOVERNMENT THAT IS BROKEN AND NEED TO BE REFORMED.
BUSINESS THAT DO NOT OBEY THE IMMIGRATION LAW IS BROKEN.
YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE LAW TO FIT THE CRIME OF THE CRIMINAL SO THAT IT DOES NOT MAKE HIS ACTS A CRIME.

Immigration reform is a national security issue of critical importance. We need to know who is in our country and who is crossing our borders. I believe that everyone who comes into the United States must be screened and every worker must have legal authorization to work. Reform will allow us to focus our resources on criminals, terrorists, and those who wish to do us harm.

THAT IS WHY THE IMMIGRATION LAWS NEED TO BE ENFORCED.
NO ONE WOULD COME IN ILLEGAL TO WORK WITHOUT LEGAL DOCUMENTS IF BUSINESS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HIRE THEM.
THEN WE WOULD KNOW THOSE WHO ARE COMING ACROSS THE BORDER ARE CRIMINALS OR TERRORISTS.

I believe reform should include strong and effective enforcement of our borders, tough sanctions against employers who hire undocumented immigrants, a temporary worker program, and an opportunity for undocumented immigrants currently in this country to get right with the law and earn their way to U.S. citizenship if they work hard for several years, learn English, pay their taxes, pass a criminal background check, and pay fines and penalties for being here unlawfully.

THE LAWS ARE ALREADY THERE.
AMNESTY TO THOSE HERE ILLEGALLY IS A REWARD FOR THEM BREAKING THE LAW.
THERE IS NOT WAY POSSIBLE TO KNOW HOW MUCH TAXES ARE OWED. NO WAY TO CHECK THERE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, HERE ARE IN MEXICO WHEN THEY ARE USING FALSE I.D.s. THERE IS NOT FINE THAT WOULD FIT THE CRIME. AMNESTY IS ONLY EARNED THE LEGAL WAY.
JUST BECAUSE THE CRIMINAL IS IN MY HOUSE IS NO LEGAL GROUNDS FOR HIM TO STAY AT MY EXPENSE.

I support immigration reform that protects the U.S. economy and American competitiveness, while also safeguarding the rights and wages of American workers.

IMMIGRATION REFORM IS NOT NEEDED, ENFORCE IS NEEDED.
IT IS NOT COMPETITIVENESS WHEN AN ILLEGAL TAKES MY JOB FROM ME JUST BECAUSE HE BIDS FOR IT AT LOWER WAGES.
SAFE GUARD THE RIGHTS AND WAGES OF AMERICAN WORKERS BY ENFORCING THE IMMIGRATION LAWS THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOK.
Hard-working immigrants have been crucial to the strong economic growth Nevada has witnessed in recent years, and I believe we need immigration reform to ensure our state?s continued economic health. Reform is also important to keep Nevada?s families ? many of which include U.S. citizens or immigrants legally in the United States, as well as undocumented members ? together.

NOT IMMIGRANTS, BUT ?ILELGAL ALIENS.? NO MATTER HOW YOU SWEETEN IT UP, IT IS STILL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM AND NOT LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
?UNDOCUMENTED MEMBERS? ARE ?ILLEGAL ALIENS.?
?A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME STILL SMELL THE SAME.?
?IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK, QUACK LIKE A DUCK , IT MUST BE A DUCK.?

We must not forget that we are a nation founded on and built by immigrants. Our grandparents and great-grandparents came here to pursue the American dream, and we should honor that proud heritage as we work to reform our immigration laws.

WE ARE NO LONGER INTO ?NATION BUILDING,? BUT OUR GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESSES STILL BELIEVE WE ARE.
AGAIN, OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS DO NOT NEED TO BE REFORMED, BUT INFORCED.

The Senate passed S. 2611, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006, by a vote of 62 ? 36 on May 25, 2006. I supported passage of this legislation. This bill must now be sent to a conference committee with the House immigration bill, H.R. 4437.

There are not jobs here waiting for illegals to fill.
They create jobs for themselves by coming here. They do this because they need food, housing, transportation, clothes and other products that sustain life. Therefore, more of the above has to be produced by business to meet their need. If more has to be produced, more workers are needed for production. They create jobs for themselves and business make more money. Businesses are getting richer and those investers are because of the illegal workforce.
It is ludicrous to think that we have unlimited jobs to be filled. With13 million illegals already here, a guest workers program is not needed? Because those that come to do the work in on the farms do not return the next year. They go on to the inner city and take jobs. A circle that goes on year after year.
(When two people get married, their needs increase when they have children. They buy more products, bassness have to produce more and to produce more they need more workers. Simple as that.)
The rhetoric that if there were no jobs for them here, they would not come is an excuse to let them come here, which only benefit businesses, which in turn benefit those who have investments in businesses. (Many of those in government)
For instance, the more illegals that come here, the more money businesses make and the more money investors make.
The American taxpayer pay the price. We who live and compete with illegals for housing, jobs, schools and social services. We are the ones who suffer from crimes committed by illegals.

1. No amnesty in any form.
2. No guest workers program with a path to citizenship. Only a temporary guest workers program for farms.
3. Interpret correctly or repeal 14th amendment that give automatic citizenship to children born to illegals.
4. Big fines, jail time or confiscate businesses who hire illegals.

These are the incentive that bring them here. If there were no incentives they would not come and they would leave. There would be no need to spend money to build a fence or to deport them. A huge saving to pass on to the taxpayer.
They would not cross illegally if the incentives were taken away.

The cost of illegal immigration is destroying this country and the way of life for Americans.
If we open the border, do not enforce immigration laws, we will soon be in worst shape economically as Mexico.

The great American give-away brings Mexicans to this country and not jobs waiting for them to fill that American will not do. If Mexicans stayed in Mexico and 10 million returned, they would stimulate Mexico?s economy and create jobs for themselves. They can open business and the buying would stimulate the economy and create more jobs.

Allowing Mexico?s people to come here and given amnesty is doing a big dis-service to Mexico?s economy. Our immigration policies are hurting Mexico and Mexico has only to depend on the money that its people are sending back to Mexico. They come here and open business and create jobs and stimulate our economy (and take full advantage of the ?great American give-away? )they can do the same for Mexico.

We cannot deport 12-20 million illegal aliens because OUR economy would collapse? By letting them come, stay and not deport them, that is exactly what we are doing to Mexico. It is okay if Mexico?s economy collapse to save our? Just as it is okay to fight terrorist in Iraqi and destroy and kill it?s people so we want have to fight them here. That sure say a lost about this country.

It is like a town when the people leave. The town dies. I?ve seen it happen in the town that I grew up in southern Ariz. The same goes for a country when its people leaves.

(I use Mexico because the majority of illegals here are from Mexico)
